At this conference, we strive to reach girls in the Pikes Peak region and surrounding areas for Christ. Our conference speakers encourage, teach, strengthen, equip, and prayerfully bring the teen girls to the Lord. We also provide resources for those attending the conference and guidance for those who need it. Our breakout sessions help solidify those lessons.

CONFERENCE ORGANIZERS

CHRIS ARNOLD

Chris is married to her high school sweetheart of 32 years. Together, she and Corey raised two boys now in their 20’s. Chris teaches English at The University School and is representing Old Colorado City in the upcoming Mrs. Colorado pageant 2022. 

JESSICA BOYER

A God loving mom of four beautiful children, Jessica homeschools and is trying to survive raising teens and toddlers at the same time. She and her husband made Colorado their home after her husband retired from the army. She has lived all over the world being an army brat and army wife. Jessica attends and works at Pikes Peak Christian Church here in Colorado Springs. Her heart for teens runs deep , knowing many of the challenges of being a teen girl and raising one.

SUE BRUNER

Sue has lived in Colorado Springs her whole life. She accepted the Lord as her Savior when she was just a child, but it wasn’t until she began to seek him intentionally that she found herself in love with Jesus. Sue had the opportunity to attend Bible Study Fellowship for many years. She also served on the Heartbeat of a woman committee as ticket coordinator. She thoroughly enjoys working with the amazing team of women God has called to orchestrate the Imagine Teen Girl Conference. She is so excited to see how God will use Imagine to encourage, inspire and equip the beautiful young teens who attend this conference.

VICKI CLARK

Vicki, her husband and 4 children moved to Colorado Springs in 1997 where they raised their children.  Within the 24 years that she has lived here, she has been involved in many ministries including a regional annual women’s conference, Heartbeat of a Woman.  It was during this time that the Lord called her to organize a conference for teen girls and their moms.  The Lord has been faithful in bringing talented women, with the same passion for His teen daughters, to join the team.  And so, The Imagine Conference was birthed in 2014 and has had 4 successful conferences thus far (as of 2021).  Vicki has been blessed and thankful to be on this journey with the Lord and those He has provided to deliver a powerful, relatable and  informative conference.

BARB HAGAR

Barb is a native to Colorado and loves all that our beautiful state has to offer; so much to see and enjoy the outdoors. She grew up in a solid family home with a lot of love however financially things were always tight – McDonalds was never an option as her parents could not afford meals to eat out. Being raised in a home that talked about God usually only two times a year (Easter & Christmas) but never had a personal relationship with our heavenly Father and had no idea what that even meant. 

Barb graduated high school at 17 and moved out of her parents house the same week she graduated (rented a room from a lady she worked with at the city hospital) and stayed there for over a year to get her adult life started. At age 21, she married a man that she knew from high school – stayed married almost eight years then divorced at age 29, had twin girls that are now in their 30’s (the very best part of her marriage by far is the children). Once divorced, a few years later she met a man when her twin girls were six years-old, yet another relationship in turmoil due to alcohol and drugs from the men she had in her life. Two more beautiful children came from that relationship so now a total of four kiddos and now becoming a single parent with the youngest of the four being two months old at that time. 

Barb decided she needed something positive in her life, so she started to attend church with a friend and found that there are tons of things for kids to do at church with loving kind people…plus it was FREE! Now she devotes her daily life to putting God first and allowing Him to be in control of all aspects. She believes it is a true blessing to be part of Imagine Teen Conference as she gets to share with young ladies the power and presence of God in her life! The one thing you will always here her say is “God is Good”….that is her answer in the storms of life as well as the happy times in life.
